should you camogie club of choice not be that of the harries bandageā¦
I donāt have any camogie club of choice, CLG. I simply have always admired St Ibarās for their beauty and grace in the same way Sid Waddell was taken by Downās footballers when he saw them defeat Meath in 1991.
Senior Football Relegation Semi-Final:
Sarsfields 3-7 Bannow-Ballymitty 0-12.
Need to beat Glynn-Barntown in the final to stay up - they relegated Padjoās Ballyhogue today. Perhaps the Godās coming back to punish Padjo for his avatar choice.
Ballyhogue are concentrating on the hurling this year Bandageā¦
very telling that you dont describe ballyhogue in the first person plural- very telling indeed
Junior D football Co final: St Jamesā v HWH Bunclody
Itās on Fitzy, itās on!
Junior D - where glory is born.
Jason Ryan confirmed for the footballers and Bonnar for the hurlers
Ryanās reappointment is very good news.
Bonnarās reappointment really is disappointing.
Merciful jesus. When I was home a few years ago, everyone was telling me about the magnificent minor team and how we were locked on for senior championship glory. That went well didnāt it?
Junior D (junior D? I didnāt even knoe there was a Junior D) is however, as everyone knows, where its at. The lifeblood of the GAA, where the genuine article, not this wannabe inter county senior championship shit.
Whenās it on Croppy Boy? This weekend? Will Setanta show it do you reckon?
I wonāt be attending Wexford senior hurling matches until Colm Bonnarās reign as Wexford manager ends. Iām disgusted by his reappointment.
A veritable feast of football on Saturday in Wexford - Senior and Junior semi-finals are taking place. Iām going for Kilanerin and Castletown in the senior games and Iām praying very hard that Clonard will lose in the Junior.
How are Fr OāRegans doing this year Bandage after their County Junior final win last year? I lived over that direction for a while and they were expecting a good year at Intermediate.
They have been intermediate in the football for a number of years eggs ā¦
But Craanford aka Fr.O Regans didnt qualify from the group stages but won their relegation game so will continue to be intermediate next year⦠they had Bunclody and St.James in their group both of whom are into the semi finals
I think heās referring to their hurling team, CLG. They came up last year after losing the final the year before to Clongeen or someone. I was at the semi-final that year when they beat the Harriers second string. They didnāt go great in Intermediate this season; lost most of their group games but Iām not best placed to talk about them as I didnāt see them play.
Meant to say the hurling? Theyāve an excellent set up in that club, two fine pitches and nice clubhouse. I saw the wexford team train there on occasions.
they have a sign up outside the grounds currently congratulating the ladies club on some victory⦠i presume it must be underage as they dont field womans teams in Camoige or Football
That sign is up ages as far as I know, it was an underage team alright.
id rarely be passing by the gaa pitch when im in the area so hadnt noticed it before ā¦
I sincerely hope that the Wexford County Board have read this post and will hang their heads in shame. Its a bad day when Bandage feels this is the only course of action available to him.
Not that it would happen Bandage, but Iām interested. Who would you have as the alternative?
Hasnāt been set yet Fitzy. No doubt theyāll leave it until mid-October now that they squeezed the disrict knock outs and Co semis into 10 days - and this after four weeks of no action. Junior D shd really be done and dusted by the end of August.
