Our NFL Division 2 clash away to Armagh today has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Walsh Cup Final
Full Time: Dublin 1-19 Wexford 0-16
We trailed 1-9 to 0-6 at half time having played with the breeze. We missed some good goal chances in the first half and conceded the last 1-3 of the half.
Lee Chin came on at half time after travelling back down the country when the football was postponed and scored some good points. Paul Morris also scored 5 points from play.
No shame being the second best team in Leinster in February. We can improve on that. We also gave Dublin plenty of different looks in terms of personnel and positions. The main thing is to take these cunts in Wexford Park in the championship in the summer.
Any thoughts on how Dublin played, Bandage?
None whatsoever. I wasn’t at the game and received my information second hand.
We apparently were level 5 mins before half time and conceded 1-3 fairly quickly. Caught in the headlights after the goal. Second half seemed even enough but while we worked hard for our scores, we gave up scores fairly easily.
Positive campaign overall to be fair.

Fairplay, good commitment. What was the Wexford team?
Not sure if they lined out as selected but this was the published team:
I’d say Armagh had the hoses on in the hope that the replay will after the Crossmaglen contingent are back.
Aindreas Doyle is tweeting pictures of Joey Wadding in a pair of underpants. I need to unfollow that tiresome bore. To make matters worse, Joe.ie then asked if they could use the photo. Them footballers are great craic altogether
The cunt said yes too
Strange as he hates the media.
Wexford lost a senior hurling challenge match in Bellefield, Enniscorthy to Waterford yesterday on a 2-17 to 0-17 scoreline. Rory Jacob was involved for the first time this season and Stephen Nolan made an appearance off the bench.
The postponed NFL Division 2 match against Armagh has been rescheduled for next Saturday night.
4 Wexford men involved in the interpro football today.
Good win I suppose…
Malone corner back
Molloy. Full back
Flynn wing back
Barry centre forward
Any idea what class of team we had out against Waterford? We should be aiming to beat the likes of them given they’re shite and their best player has retired.

Very sloppy performance from both teams who just went through the motions. Wexford in particular were unbelievably wasteful in possession, the amount of sloppy passing, striking and poor deliverly to our forwards was of a very weak standard. Eoin moore was excellent corner back, waters was decent enough whilst morris & sinnot were the pick of a very weak forward line.Guiney started well by picking off a neat point but seemed disintrested and his work rate is far below what is required. Stephen murphy scored 2 handy points but was very average overall and was guilty of sloppy / poor passing on several occassions. Michael o regan struggled to impact the game at all, the lad battled hard but his hurling needs serious work. Podge doran looked short on confidence from the start, fumbled or mis controlled alot of ball but i still think he has potential and he can be developed with good coaching… David redmond produced a typical redmond performance - picked off 2 lovely scores, was industries and quick onto to breaking ball then faded out of the game dramtically and was replaced at half time which mystifies me. Harry kehoe scored the pick of the scores but much like redmond he faded out. He actually looks a bit leggy to me.
Shore was solid throughout and lee chin done quite well wing back. Of the subs that came on, andrew kenny really caught the eye whilst rory jacob marked his first appearance of the season with a neat brace. Stephen nolan also featured for a 20 minute period in the second half but looked miles off the pace. Its going to take a serious effort to get him up to championship pace and was replaced not so long after his introduction. Eoin doyle also came on and impressed me again. He is a very neat and tidy hurler. He came on corner back and hurled alot of ball although he was caught napping for his man to score a point. Mark fanning started in goal and looked shaky enough. some poor passes handed waterford a few cheap scores/ niall breen looks the more assurred of the 2 and should be number 1 for the upcoming league. The Irish Independent are reporting that Diarmuid Lyng has an illness that’s endangering his availability this season. He’s already been ruled out for the entirety of the league campaign. Keith Rossiter has a shoulder injury and he’ll miss Sunday’s opener away to Carlow.
