That’s former Wexford hurler and fellow chartered accountant Willie Doran in the striped top.
You left out DCU graduate
[quote=“Mac, post: 783313, member: 109”]I’m overcome with blind optimism. Billy Walsh just told Des Cahill we’ll put it upto them. That team looks far more balanced with Shore at centre back.

Is there anything Billy Walsh doesn’t get right?
Surely Daly will learn that the way to play Waters is to spread the ball out wide, as they did the minute Ryan came in, resulted in a free which went straight over the bar. I just don’t rate Kenny, Bandage. There’s definitely someone more reliable on that panel than him.
As I said above, Waters was blessed. Did any of you’s see the stamp? Terrible carry on and he threw the knees into a lad on the ground in 1st half too after a free had been giving.
It is good to come on read that there is positives being taking out of it too tho. Chin and Morris will surely improve things from the off the next day. Lets just hope we learn more than they do.
Agree with you Bandage re Sinnott… A cool customer, but too cool at times. 4 fantastic points all the same. I liked the look of PJ when he came on too, looked lively and hungry.
Is there anyone on the team able to take sidelines? Shocking usage of them tonight, almost as bad as Clare last week.

Eoin Moore
I don’t know, Gavin 2, but I didn’t see Kenny’s man do much tonight and he got in a number of clearances. I thought he had a pretty solid game, and you must remember he’s playing hurling at intermediate level with his club too.
It seems Waters will always have that side to his game. He must know it could potentially cost us and I presume he tries to control it but in the heat of battle…
Just watching the game again.
Half Time: Dublin 0-12 Wexford 1-8.
The refereeing was completely different to how other counties are treated.
Hon Bandage, Hon Wexford, only seen bits of it but a few well fed Wexford lads seemed very effective
Waters form seems to have improve with that op. Who was the clare lad who had it done, did he play vs Waterford?
Cian Dillon and Conor McGrath both had them done after Christmas. Dillon had a very solid game against Waterford while McGrath was well marshalled but scored the second goal
Watched the game again last night and that spell at 1-14 and 1-15 to 0-15 was completely nuts really.
Lambert came on for them and smacked two wides from 30 yards out, while Boland missed a free and shot a couple of aimless wides from distance.
Meanwhile, Jacob looked dangerous and Morris had just come on and laid off a nice pass for Sinnott to point but we stopped playing the ball into them.
Instead we got a bit excited and launched a few hit and hope shots from distance that either went wide or dropped short into Maguire’s hands. We also had the Chin goal chance and his second surging run which ended with a wide.
Any opinions on the wealthiest club in the county being allowed to do a collection at half time for their feile team? Generally this sort of thing was restricted to other county wide activities like camogie or ladies football. Unusual to see a club doing it.

We were trying to win the game at that point instead of just continuing to hurl to our strengths. I guess we (and they) were choking. That’s an insightful comment but may go over some people’s heads.
I really dislike St Martin’s but I still didn’t have the courage of my online convictions to tell the child to fuck off. But my 65cent contribution could ultimately be for the betterment of Wexford hurling generally if they perform well on the national stage.
It was kids in Shelmaliers jerseys up by us as well as Martins one. Appendage, I think the collection may have been a general Feile collection rather than for one specific club. The bucket had Feile 2013 on it or something to that effect / affect
The very best of luck to St Martin’s in the Feile
Ok. I hereby propose that a collection be held every year to provide a grant towards file costs for the Wexford winners of the county feile hurling tournament.
The grant shall cover the cost of a bus to and from the venue, meals and subsistence as required. Any other expenditure must be pre approved by an coiste bainisti.
All surplus fund to be diverted to the senior team to ensure and adequate number of free passes and free pints when in the stores.
Nice to see Ben Brosnan having a go at Jason Ryan in the media over the weekend. applause
What did he say Bandage?
Called him a lying cunt without actually using the term “lying cunt”.
Need Daithi Waters to give us the platform today.
4 Sarsfields players in the squad. Wonderful scenes.
