A draw will be enough for us to get promoted after your sloppy dropped points last weekend.
Hammered 1-16 to 0-6 by Offaly.
Bad result alright. Heard fuck all reports on it yet. But that’s a fair beating to take at home. That team at minor were destroyed by Meath if memory serves me right.
In hindsight, taking Offaly to a shithole like Taghmon was the wrong decision. They probably felt very much at home there.
I would agree, a dire pitch. I dont think the floodlights there are wholly adequate either.
That’s settled then. We’ve analysed it and uncovered the reasons for the 13-point defeat.
and the pitch is on a terrible slope. you’d strain your neck having to look up and down it the whole time.
That and a Fethard man was captain, all theyre good for is painting vans.
Not signs with players names on the road?
You’d obviously know better.

What was the point of that by the way?
The point of them painting the van or of my post?
The point of putting players names on signs and sticking them out of telegraph poles
Ah, that as from the previous year Mac. I really dont know a couple of club “stalwarts” with too much time on their hands thought it would be a great idea…i cant say i agree.
Have they been up since then or were they taken down and then put back up?
they’ve been up a fair while now! the hogs had a load up from years ago and some of them are still stuck on poles too.
Up since…
Anybody got a report from today’s victory in New Ross?
Top of the league.
Football and hurling double header in Limerick on March 9th.
Before that the footballers have Cavan in New Ross next Sunday.

I wasn’t at it but Liam Og and Ian Byrne got the goals. It was pretty closely fought till our second goal which we got in the last 10 mins I think and then we tacked on a few points to put the game beyond their reach. Encouraging to close it out I guess given what happened against Antrim in the last 5 mins. Apparently we hit a clatter of bad wides in the 2nd half too.
Wexford Park will reopen on March 16th for the double header with Sligo & Laois
