Any knowledgeable hurling men have an inkling about how we’ll line up?
Team being announced tomorrow morning. A couple of changes expected.
Do we have a chance, chaps? The squad is travelling to Ennis on the matchday morning. What do you make of this?
I was thinking of watching this game on TV but imagine not being there if we won. It might depend on how pissed I get watching France-Germany and Brazil-Colombia tomorrow.
I make that the three Oulart chaps (Moore, Redmond and Sinnott) for Shore, O’Keeffe and Guiney. All three have been injured at various stages of the year and came on against Dublin. Some looked more match sharp than others so hopefully they’re all ready now. I think Shore or O’Keeffe should be partnering Redmond in midfield though.
Harsh on shore, i do not rate Lee Chin’s positional awareness, hopefully this will not be exploited.
Rory Jacob is blessed to start.
Actually, I think Chin should be midfield with Shore retaining the centre back spot.
Shore played midfield against Clare last year and got the run around. Centre Back is much more suited for him.

What would be the general opinion of Rory Jacob in Wexford? I always thought he was a very good hurler but the last few times I saw him he hasn’t been good at all
Rory Jacob is a legend down here in Wexford. Played well v Antrim but poor the last day v Dublin. I think Wexford will do well tomorrow.
It will be nice to beat the all Ireland champions in their back yard and it will give the lads confidence coming into the more important games later on in the year… Wexford by 5 points
If he gets the run around in midfield, he’ll get the run around at center-back.
If he gets the run around in midfield, he’ll get the run around at center-back.
Well past his prime now surely? Been around for a long time. Lovely hurler in his pomp.
He’s only 30/31 I think so still of some use.
Seems like that but he’s been hurling senior since he was 18.
Nice day here in Ennis lads, ocassional shower but fine and light breeze…enjoy the day for those traveling
Jacobs made his debut against Clare in 2002 in Portlaoise IIRC. Was just out of minor
he has nice touches and still has pace but is prone to doing the most headless of things…never seemed to get cuter as he got older…seems to shoot from riciculous angles aswell …
Correct apart from the s at the end of his surname
Has had to do it up front on his own for a long time though so has probably picked up bad habits like shooting from ridiculous angles as a result.
Think he even scored a goal that day. Twas a sweltering Sunday evening
