My information is only second hand but my source is beyond reproach and obviously it goes without saying that it is very close to the panel.[/quote]
Tell Boccy I said thanks

Sadly I am as close to the panel as the great man these days.
Half Time: Wexford 1-6 Offaly 0-6.
Tiarnan Rossiter scored a goal after 21 minutes and Wexford were 1-6 to 0-1 ahead at that stage. Decent response by Offaly in the lead up to half time.
I’m not at the game as it’s in New Ross.
I pity Tiarnan Rossiter because people won’t be able to spell his name correctly.
Full Time: Wexford 1-14 Offaly 0-12.
I wasn’t really paying attention to the second half radio commentary. Think Offaly reduced the deficit to 2 at one stage but Wexford pulled away fairly comfortably again. PJ Banville came on and kicked 2 or 3 second half points and I think Lyng and Brosnan were the other main point scorers.

Thinly veiled I’d rather watch the rugby.
The Celtic game, pal.
What better way to spend the last 12 mins before the Superbowl than by watching an 11 minute highlights reel of the hurlers game vs Dublin last weekend with @gaamad1996 in the commentary box aided by half of Gorey on the bank. The slowmo for Rhys Clarkes goal in the first couple of mins is worth it alone.
Thanks Mac but I could think of several better ways! The radio-like commentary ruins the video-audio combination. We’re working on a solution. Always striving for better quality for TFK and Wexford.
I haven’t been on here a lot lately, L.C. preparations in full swing!

Keep it up anyway. I hear Spratt is already shaking in his boots.
I was moaning to a colleague today about the new Wexford jersey, and he asked me had I not seen the Westmeath one … so I looked it up. Oh - My - God …

I was half-tempted to scour the O’Neills website for a worse one but surely that would be a wasted exercise …
The Combined Wexford Colleges team lost the Leinster Senior A hurling quarter final against Colaiste Eoin today. It finished 3-18 to 1-20 after extra time. I think they had to play without their Enniscorthy CBS players who were in Senior B action today. St Peter’s College are the only Wexford school remaining in the A competition - they play Good Counsel College of Kilkenny in another quarter final.
Roscommon 1-16 Wexford 1-9.
Good Counsel easily accounted for St Peter’s on a scoreline of 2-13 to 1-9.
Hurlers away to Antrim in Ballycastle next weekend.

There was hardly an expectationwe would beat Roscommon was there? Cavan next up there in three weeks as the hurling kicks in. Why are we playing inter county games in New Ross?
Wouldn’t have expected to get a hiding anyway. Is it home or away against Cavan? We have 4 home games this season so we should be able to stave off relegation.
Promotion is imminent.
Wouldnt really consider it a hiding. Roscommon have far superior players to Wexford.
Anyone at it?
Whilst Roscommon may have players with higher profiles I wouldn’t consider them having far superior players to us.
I’ll revise it to being very comfortably beaten / bordering on taking a hiding. 7 points is a fairly significant defeat.

Of the Wexford team that started yesterday only 4 or 5 max ould get on the Roscommon team and a lot of the subs that Wexford had wouldnt make the panel.
