Wexford GAA 2015

Wexford GAA have live commentary of this minor hurling league final.

Anyone remember when the football equivalent was played?

It’s mental. All it is is just a bit more than challenge games. One team in the football equivalent I know sent their third string to one of the games as they had a more important challenge game.

In saying that, I hope there’s a big spread in the papers this week about our leinster champions.

Dublin done so with Laois in the last round of it iirc.

Best of luck in the first round of the Championship next weekend, I presume the trophy will be locked away after tonight.

There’ll be big celebrations I’d imagine. The famine is over, first leinster minor since 85 sure…

They’ll hardly be sober enough to tog out next weekend so

What we need to do now is cancel all senior championship games until the minors are out/win the All Ireland.

Fuck you @carryharry and @TreatyStones

Yes Mac. We’ve been fucked over good and proper.

You found division 3 a bit too competitive.

You should be more at home in division 4.

LOL Leinster football and Leinster hurling

Leinster football is a joke alright mate.

Are there senior club championship games taking place next weekend?

Yes.

Check www.wexfordgaa.ie for fixtures.

Sarsfields are playing the Mogues I think.

Why is Fethard-Sarsfields fixed for New Ross? This is a disgrace.

I see that Wexford’s Leinster Senior Hurling Championship opener on June 7th clashes with Ireland-England in Aviva Stadium.

O’Kennedy Park is the home of football.

Who cares mate? Sure it’s not even a “Test match”.

Only marginally closer to Fethard pal. Grantstown might have been more central or maybe Taghmon.

On another note, the publication of fixtures is pretty fucking bad. There’s an update to hurling fixtures published which is totally wrong and was updated by an email to clubs.

Fixtures for the weekend after next haven’t been published. The hurling fixtures haven’t been published yet either. Just told clubs they’d be out on the bank holiday weekend but no indication of which day. The world won’t end but little things like that are important to players. And their wives and/or girlfriends. Or boyfriends for that matter.

I can well imagine, pal. Maybe a player’s wife/girlfriend/boyfriend has a birthday or something and the player wants to organise a party/meal/night away/BBQ. It would be nice to get early notice of fixtures to facilitate forward planning. Sure, the next few weekends are pencilled in but there’s a big difference between, say, a Friday night and Sunday evening throw-in time in terms of doing other “life activities” over the weekend.

Or heaven forbid a Bank Holiday Monday fixture. The nadir of fixtures to get.

@Gman will love this

WTF?
