After what happened the Limerick crowd on the Wexford Youths pitch he was well warned
Paul Morris is hoping to delay a medial knee ligament operation until the autumn and returned to county training last week. Didn’t think such an action would be feasible but we’ll have to wait and see if his movement is impacted.
Simon Donahoe and Jim White have taken part in recent training sessions but they’re still officially senior football squad members.
Brendan Furlong was the only journalist present at Wexford-Clare in Tagoat last Saturday as he heard about Davy’s demands and got into position at the ground before the gate was closed.
We’ve never defeated Kilkenny in minor hurling championship in Wexford Park and only once ever in county Wexford (in New Ross in the 1940s).
We drew Westmeath in the minor hurling quarter final and it’ll be played on May 9th.
Club senior hurling championship gets underway this weekend.
Derek Kent has resigned from the chair of the fixtures committee. He had committed to playing 3 rounds of championship before the intercounty summer break after the shambles last year of not having football reps in the Leinster club, but the CCCC over ruled and cancelled the 3rd round of the football so the county teams could play challenge games, so he has said fuck that to them and has had enough of it. He got an awful lot of criticism for the fixtures and scheduling, but its a thankless job when he makes fixtures to suit clubs, and then county teams challenge games get priority over a whole round of fixtures.
Denis Cadogan is running that show and making a fuck of it.
Derek Kent hasn’t been on the fixtures committee for a couple of years. He had some sort of Croke Park appointed rolet? Denis Cadogan is the captain of that particular ship. The Costa Concordia I think it’s called.
They’ll probably tell us the fixtures for round two of the hurling on Thursday week. Cancelling round three is pretty fucking stupid after making the commitment.
It’s a thankless task to be sure but they deserve a load of criticism for their absolutely shit levels of communication.

Not sure so, I was reading what was reported in the paper at home today about it. I thought he was still the overall coordinator of it all. In any case, he handed in his notice because of it.
Any recommendations lads for a couple days away down in Wexford? Good hotel etc for myself and the Mrs, close proximity to a beach and a bit of craic??

Is round 3 of the hurling going ahead?talk of it being called off too!
To put this in a way that the board would understand. Denis Cadogan is the equivalent of the Engagement Partner will Derek Kent is (was) the Engagement Quality Review Partner.
Kids or no kids?
No kids pal. The Mrs parents have that covered. Want to get away for her birthday for few days in May then do the usual two weeks in July,August abroad.

The article in the echo that reports Denis Kents resignation for those outside of the motherland.
I also read a very good opinion piece by Alan Aherne in the People too about Good Counsel. Very good piece, would agree with him in all of it.

If I think of it I’ll do it later.
There was highlights (very few) of the game on the Wexford facebook page. The jimmies corner forward is a super player too, had seen him at under 14 a good bit, excellent player.

Who was the centre forward who scored nearly everything they showed?
Thomas O Connor, Tullogher. And in addtion to Darragh Joyce, probably 2 of the best 18 and 17 year old players in football in the country, both from Kilkenny, both on Kilkenny hurling teams, and both could likely to never play GAA again after this year.
