Informative stuff pal, any discount when you bought the Monaghan ones too? Are they more comfortable to wear now that your balls are in her handbag? With the threats and abuse of o rourke going viral are you worried on the authorities taking a look at other trolls of top Irish celebrities?
Thanks Michael. I was actually referring to last weekâs football match against Down in the post you have referenced.
Iâll be heading south on the N11 and R772 (where the N11 is being worked on) this weekend again in any case. See you at @Bandageâs for tea before the match.

so long as we are in this game with ten to go I will be happy, the sheer lack of fight against Kilkenny was terribly disheartening to watch. Le Croi agus lamh mo phog.
Maybe ino front of a partisan crowd we can make things happen but something seems to have gone terribly awry since last yearâŚ
As FoTF Woolie/Wooly pointed out, OâRourke was sent off in a game his county lost after squandering a 10-point lead and took to searching twitter an hour later to find comments about him.
He retweeted comments where he wasnât even directly tagged (i.e. where people didnât use @ and his username). It was a televised championship game - of course heâs going to ship criticism on social media for petulantly and recklessly getting sent off in that capitulation.
There seems to have been one tweet where a kid directly tagged him and said heâd call over to knife him. Sure we threaten to kill each other all the time on here. Paddy and Uncle Colm need to take their beating and stop being pussies. So, I wouldnât call it trolling really and it doesnât apply to me in any case.
As an aside, I think golf is a ridiculous pursuit and, even though the gimps playing it canât be tackled, the fat ones donât seem to have the stamina to make the required birdies coming down the stretch on Major Sundays. Do you agree, pal?
Iâm very much looking forward to the Ulster Final on July 19th. Wouldnât it be great if Wexford were in qualifier action in some code or other the night before? An absolute buoyant journey to Clones from Kilkenny last year on the morning after the night Wexford defeated Waterford. But I think it might be a free weekend this year? Our hurlers will be playing on 4th, 11th and 26th as far as I know.
The country music festival will be finishing up on the Ulster final Sunday night in Monaghan town again this year. Iâd highly recommend it. That weekend is basically our Coachella.
I prefer the country music festival in Carrickmacross rather than the one in Monaghan town. No offence, Chucks.
Have the details for the footballersâ trip to Derry been confirmed yet?
All that has been affirmed is that the game will be on Saturday, hard to know what time it will be on.
It would be ridiculous to have it on i the evening, so it will probably be on at 7.00pm
Iâm kinda hoping the hurlers lose this weekend as Iâd like to go to Derry and I donât want to have to choose between attending that game and a hurling qualifier tie on the same day.
whoâs " o rourke"?
Meath Goalkeeper.
will ye beat Cork? 3/1 with bookies big price.
ah yeah
was it us the sunday game was complaining about?
Yeah, Colm OâRourke is his Uncle. I dont think the word Galoot has ever been more apt.
Still I dont believe he deserves the grief that was addressed to him directly, but it is also unclear whether it was from Meath or Westmeath fans.
Was in touch with a knowledgeable hurling man. Feel free to ignore his fabricated update:
Chaaaarrrrggggeeee?
Cork.are tucked but ye have the football Sunday, beat twice in one week cork will 3 if ye lose tonight
