Wexford GAA 2015

Playing Clare tomorrow in Boherlahan at 1pm

[QUOTE=“Mac, post: 1075179, member: 109”]Weather permitting I’ll be brining the little fella to his first hurling game on Sunday. Start as you mean to go on and all that. In years to come maybe he’ll appreciate days like this as much as we all did

Imagine the mayhem that would ensue if we beat them in Nowlan Park ?

Ryan wil basically be a professional hurler if he joins the army. Was the making of Larkin. Colin Fennelly has improved beyond recognition too. Hasn’t done Paul Murphy any harm

[QUOTE=“Bandage, post: 1074673, member: 9”]Liam Ryan is a sub on Sunday.

Starts for Andrew Kenny, Pádraig Foley, Benny Barron, Joe Kelly and Daithí Waters.

Wexford GAA admin on the ball again. A headline of Mossy Waters makes his long awaited return with the below picture just above it

Garrett Sinnot starts at midfield for Wexford tomorrow and is also on the bench for UCD in the same game

That’s common enough in these games when the arrangement is to share a player in certain games, they’ll fuck him down on both for print reasons and let the management sort it out.

Senior Hurling Challenge Game

Wexford 4-18 Clare 1-20

Would have expected us to win by more.

You were wrong so

Was actually 4-16 to 1-20. Supposed to have been a well contested game

This will really devastate Mac.

Any information on the team lineups, pal?

Or any other pals?

Did your man get leave from the army to play or did he go AWOL.

Don’t know about Wexford, Clare team was

Touhy, Mcnamara, Mcinerney, Flanagan, O’Connor, Dillon, Nicky O’C, Stepehen O’Hallran, Bugler, Colin Ryan, Mcgrath, Malone, Conlon, Honan, O Malley. Mulready and o Gorman were the subs.

Clare 21s panle from last year is at the Munstr match today and a few others were held in reserve for tomorrow

Thanks. Lads playing twice in 24-48 hours is asking for injuries so I presume the Wexford side mainly featured players who weren’t named in tomorrow’s Walsh Cup team. That said, the local press speculated that players who would be playing with colleges in the Walsh Cup (and therefore probably playing tomorrow in any event) would be used against Clare.

How bad are UCD? Wexford are 2/13 to win tomorrow

Obviously if the 6 UCD lads from Wexford were playing today it would heavily influence things but they’re hardly that bad are they?

More often than not the county sides are overwhelming favourites. I’d say if you looked back through the results of these contests you could count on one hand the amount of times one of them has beaten an established county

They were that poor last week that Cheddar held a half hour training session after the game. Looked like they had just met. Paddy Purcell and Conor Mac the only hurlers of note, Hanlon was poor enough.

Quite a strong Wexford team today.
