Wexford GAA 2015

Wexford man starts in the army and can’t play.

Kilkenny man starts in the army, does leaving cert and gets hurler of the year.

I know nothing of Ryan’s situation but I’d be very surprised if joining the defence forces rules him out for the summer.

All I heard is the lad ain’t training and the team are training like mad. Hope t’fuck you’re right though.

Are they going well in training?

I believe they

I hear they’re flying it. T’was a lad from 'scorthy who told me about Ryan, relative of one of the players said they’re bursting into training.

Shush you or you’ll ruin our place in the long grass
Wexford hurlers defeated Cork IT last Saturday by 1-22 to 0-9 before losing to Tipperary the following day. The Wexford People reveals that Aidan Nolan suffered a broken hand against CIT. The team was:

Fanning;
Conroy, O’Hanlon, A Kenny;
Devitt, Sinnott, A Cash;
Barron, A Nolan;
Kelly, Tomkins, O’Keeffe;
Guiney, McDonald, D Dunne.

Garrett Sinnott played in the unfamiliar position of centre back. O’Keeffe scored 1-3.
Sinnott played all of his underage hurling in the backs or midfield.

Lads should I invest in the intercounty season ticket for hurling? I just spotted on the wex gaa site that they are doing the 10 euro league tickets from SuperValu. So the season ticket isn’t worth it then. Or is there some other advantage to getting it?

Senior Hurling Championship Draw:

I don’t think he played all his underage hurling in the backs or midfield. He was full forward on the Wexford Under 21 team in 2007 and wing forward in 2008, for example. I recall him playing midfield on occasion for Oulart alright. When did he play in the backs? At minor level of below?

He had never played in the forwards until u21. He played centre back and midfield at minor for wexford and would have never played in the forwards for oulart until he got out of minor.

Fethard’s Motion to be kept away from the Jimmies worked out ok…

Weather permitting I’ll be brining the little fella to his first hurling game on Sunday. Start as you mean to go on and all that. In years to come maybe he’ll appreciate days like this as much as we all did
