He’s 33ish I’d say. His back was always a problem even since he was a teenager. For a relatively young fella he had a lot of hardish seasons under his belt. Would have been going all year around between Wexford and Oulart for a good few seasons and would say his opportunities for recovery were limited enough.

Pity another club or clubs couldn’t take Oulart’s mantle.
He’d been on the go for a long time and the break(s) would have done him good.

Saturday at 3pm Wexford will line out against Westmeath for the 2nd time in less then a month and this time they mean business as they vie for a Allianz League Division 4 Final title

The early preview was better
Wexford securing a final spot having won their first five games back-to-back and despite loosing their last two wexford had always one eye on this Saturday’s Final and we can look forward to a return of a early league type performance and a thrilling Div 4 final

PRO. Free laptop, free phone, travel expenses, match tickets, meals etc. Not bad for a few poorly written press releases.
in fairness to the current PRO, he is a decent fella and the only real benefits he gets is the pass into the game and if he travels with the team, the meal before/after. He is usually on the sideline taking a load of photos of games with his own personal camera. No free phone or laptop or expenses. He had worked a long time with the underage board and in fairness to him, tries do a load of promotional stuff and posters etc, although not always the best idea but always with the best intentions (eg the Leinster winning minor team of 2015 who lost to Westmeath in the championship). The spelling and grammar is utterly atrocious though.

he wasnt anyway, unless they have taken up paying his phone bill or something since, but I wouldnt know that end of it. one of few times a board member isnt there to feather his own cap. Has a genuine interest in it all and loves doing it.

AH yea, I take the piss out of it more than most, but you can tell he’s seriously passionate about it. The intentions are good, its just a pity he can’t wrangle a bit of professional help alongside him. Maybe with Davy raising the profile a bit more might get involved.
