I can’t be sure but it wouldn’t be surprising to find out he has.
I know he does for soccer but that goes back to the 70s anyhow.
Here’s the report from the paper.
Is bad grammar a big thing in Wexford?
Based on evidence from the county GAA twitter account and local journalists it would appear to be so.
“appeals will be lodged into the bans”
Thanks to organisers for reaching out to TFK. Delighted to announce one of our members will be taking part in the Q&A on Monday night.
Sure everyone knows Yatesey posts here regularly
Tonight’s senior hurling results:
Rathnure 2-11 Cloughbawn 0-15
St Martin’s 0-20 Oulart-The Ballagh 1-14
Just watched St Martin’s-Oulart’s highlights on the Wexford GAA facebook page. Rory and Jack O’Connor scored some smashing points. I hope Rory is available to join the Wexford squad after the Leaving Cert - he’s an outstanding talent.
Faythe Harriers 0-22 Rapparees 1-14. Chin scored “a hape a” points from frees and play.
Bumped ahead of this evening’s eagerly awaited event.
Late change here. Gordon D’Arcy for Tadhg Furlong.
Davy revealed at tonight’s championship preview event in The Talbot Stillorgan organised by the Dublin branch of the Wexford Supporters’ Club that Shaun Murphy may have a fractured sternum. They’re awaiting the results of the x-rays but he’s out for a few weeks in a best case scenario.
A wonderful event last night, guys. Great credit to former Wexford U21 hurling goalkeeper Mattie (Matthew in business circles) White and his fellow organisers. Great to see so many ex players in attendance and it was splendid to renew acquaintances with lots of Gaels.
In this picture alone I can see ex Wexford footballers Adrian Morrissey, Philip Wallace, Gavin Morris and Diarmuid Kinsella, ex Wexford hurler William “Willie Doran”, ex/current Wexford camógs Mags D’Arcy and Helena Jacob, Horeswood trio Albert, Mark Mac and Butler, the scorer of all Faythe Harriers’ points in their victorious 1993 Wexford U12 Roinn 2 hurling final, a St Jude’s stalwart, Maria from the Rapps along with several sneaky journalists who were waiting to jump on any Davy sound bites / anecdotes to turn them into sensationalist stories.
@scalder from the defunct wexfordsupporters.com is also in that photo along with another lad who is a dead ringer for Ed Woodward
Starting to look very like Clare’s legend Domhnall O’Donovan
Was Buff Egan present ?
Most people wore an appropriate suit/jacket combo for this meeting.
I know three people in that photo.
Shaun Murphy, needless to say be a big loss.
Wonder who Davy will get to play sweeper.
Was Banty there with updates.
The hurlers have travelled to Portugal for their training camp today. Davy says he’s taking a calculated risk with the game on May 27/28 as we’re going to work extremely hard while away and might be lacking some freshness.
