I understand they didn’t want to risk the integrity of the round robin and so waited to have the draw until after it was completed. But what a kick in the balls for Laois to win all 3 games and then he rewarded with an imminent hole opening against Wexford. They should maybe look at the rugby league system in England where part of the knock out part sees teams rewarded for achievements by getting to pick their preferred opponent.

Westmeath had the opposite a few years back, which we benefitted from so we happily take our luck of the draw. No point whipping Offaly year in year out, time to take the next scalp. Ollie has told us we never fear Wexford and Oisin is already working on the hearts and minds. You’ve been warned.
Shaun Murphy will probably be fit for the Kilkenny game. Huzzah.

Finished the league with 3 hidings and the games we won were by small enough margins.
