Hearing that Scott Doran passed away. Haven’t heard what happened or how he died.
Serious footballer, if he and Matty Forde had to have been able to combine in a full forward line they’d have had unreal success. By far the best footballer prior to Mattys emergence and as good a player you’d struggle to find. Didn’t make national headlines with fewer games and much less profile but still was exceptional.

He played minor in 1992. Wexford had a good minor team that year and should have beaten eventual All-Ireland champions Meath, but blew it and lost out in extra-time in a (second?) replay in the Leinster semi-final - it was before Dublin beat Kildare in the Leinster senior final.

Shit. Only seeing this now. He was a class player. Probably underachived a bit and could have been involved in that good early noughties team if he’d been more committed.
