Iâd have assumed that an Anneâs team backboned by a tonne of lads with intercounty experience would have the beatings of them.

Scrolling down through the Annes twitter feed it looks like Dee OâKeeffe scored around 15 points, 5 or 6 from play.
Think itâs currently being streamed on youtube. Checked and see the delayed coverage has been delayed.
Yeah I remember him playing in goals for them years ago
Derek McGrathâs Faythe Harriers are staying in Liam Griffinâs Monart tonight ahead of tomorrowâs clash with Ferns in Bellefield.
I should just say that I completely made up that thing about Faythe Harriers staying in Monart.
I remember making up a post about Wexford beating Limerick in a challenge match in Portlaoise or somewhere a few years ago and lads were rowing about it on the Hogan Stand Limerick forum for a while afterwards.
He must have sore shoulders from carrying the rest of the team
Lads outside Bellefield this evening looking in at the St Annes x2 game.
FAO of @Big_Dan_Campbell:
Your pal Mick Reade features in this report although the caption says Mick Reid. It gets Shaun Murphy wrong too.
Meyler is some operator. Heâs training kilmoyley in Kerry too. He must go through a car a year with that mileage
I was at that game
Just catching up on the Oulart v Martinâs match here.
Did all the Oulart auld lads just retire or whatâs the story?
Redmond, Rossiter, Jacob x2, Sinnott, Paul Roche, Nicky Kirwan, Darren Stamp, Des Mythen, Darren Nolan, Lar Prendergast and Steven Doyle some generation to try and replace. All played intercounty for Wexford Iâd say at some point.
I think a few have retired. A lot of them would be 35+. However Iâm fairly sure that someone said that Dunne fell out with a few of them and they decided to play inter/junior.
Darren Nolan didnât I donât think but may have been in the squad. Nicky Kirwan never really got a sustained chance in championship. Des Mythen was often injured. But some set of players as you say.
Darren Stamp said in a podcast recently he felt many of them preferred playing for Oulart than the county team and they often felt Oulart were stronger than the county team so many lads may not have been giving their full effort for county.
There must have been an overlap between all those lads with Liam Dunne himself and Storey in the early/mid 2000s when Dunne and Storey were coming to the end?
They really should have won more outside Wexford.
Liam Dunne retired after '03. Storey much earlier but he came back in '01 as an impact sub.
Stamp made his debut in '01 and Mick Jacob did around '01 I think too. Rory was a minor in '01 and was straight into the senior panel from '02 I think. I think Rossi was later in but couldnât be fully sure. Mythen, Doyle, Roche, Sinnott, and Pender would have all been after Dunne retired from memory.
Edit - just realised you probably meant club overlap so all of the above is fairly irrelevant
Stamp admits himself they should have won much more. They were probably too complacent in some Leinster games particularly against Mt Leinster Rangers that time. Theyâd regularly beat the KK champions and then slip up against an Offaly team. Ballyboden had a very good team at that time too though which shouldnât be forgotten. But Iâd agree they should have won more Leinsters. Sure they went untouched in Wexford for 6 or 7 years.
Dunne and Storey were surely still playing club for a few years after they retired from Wexford.?
They lost to OâLoughlins, Coolderry, Kilcornac and Mount Leinster, 4 years in a row from 2010 - 2013.
Iâm more wondering what they were at from 2003-2010.
