Very clear change in tactics. Long long long. Get it into the full forward line quick. Egan making lots of calls to the half backs and midfield to get it in quick and long. Mac is thriving on it. Nothing we all didnât know anyway but great to see. Higgins and Byrne are going OK either side of him but Oisin Foley the stand out of the half. Game somewhat bypassing McGuckin, but good to see young lads getting game time. Paudi Foley is solid out centre back.

McDonald was the one player who really didnât suit Davyâs style. Looked like he could have been a superstar when it was just man on man up there. Will be interesting to see how he goes now

Conall Flood seems to be hurling very well too. Good to see Conor Devitt getting a run too. About 27 now but he was very highly rated as a minor and U21.
Yeah stand out in the backs too alright. Devitt has defended well and flood has been good going forward.

Cian Byrne must be a great prospect getting a start at 18. He still had another year left in minor after the 2019 Leinster success. Has he even done the Leaving Cert yet?
Some finish by Cathal Dunbar. He never seemed to flourish under Davey at all. Hopefully he can fulfil some of his potential with some consistency
