Rathnure to get relegated on the 100 year anniversary of Rackardās birth. 80 plus years in senior grade too. Would never have thought Iād see Oulart or Alley go down - so be some craic if all 3 were in Intermediate next year.
Is this a sign that the quality at Senior has improved, or that those three clubs are gone to shit?
I though weād see more compere when they reduced numbers in each grade.

In senior since 1941 according to Furlong in the paper of record this week. Theyāll need to improve significantly to win that relegation final.

Re the Alley I believe the older generation in the club didnāt speak to any of the team that got relegated for a wee whileā¦
Thereās eejits on the Hogan Stand forum calling for it to go back to 16 teams in senior. Far more interesting with 12. Makes the intermediate stronger too. Kilkenny have 12 too and they have a very good club scene.

More than likely Harriers but they seem to save themselves at the final hurdle a bit.
Iād say there was some shame around Buffers Alley elders alright 
Harriers gaining momentum. But I stand by what I said, they deserve to go down for appointing McGrath.
Alley and Oulart had a similar pattern of success, Alley 1st title in 68 last in 92( 12 in 24 years), Oulart 1st in 94 last in 2016 ( 13 in 22 years), Rathnure havenāt won since 06 havenāt been serious contenders in underage for a while, i expect town teams along with Martins, Shels and Glynn to dominate the next few years, since Oulart dropped off those clubs have the majority of titles across both codes. Canāt see a rural club having a strong run like Oulart, Alley of Duffry in football unless a special generation arrive for a club.

Think if they win by 5 there safe for certain less than 5 hope for some luck and get calculators out.

Is it scoring difference or head to head that decides?
Iām confused as some teams are lower based on inferior scoring difference but then they have others higher based on head to head.
2 teams level on points its head to head, more than 2 its points difference.
