Matty Forde, Lyng, Red Barry, Brosnan, PJ Banville, Shane Roche, Adrian Flynn etc. was a grand spread of attacking talent. Likes of Morrissey and Colm Morris would have been still doing a job at wing forward back then too.

Its about half and half. 8 kk 7 wex starters today. 2 dropped from last week against Peters are Wexford lads and another Fethard chap Iād expect to be a starter didnāt seem to be on the panel at all today.

Good win for Counsel. The paper named 9 Kilkenny and 6 Wexford against Peterās?. Looking from afar it always seems like in the football itās roughly two thirds Wexford and one third Kilkenny, then the opposite way around in the hurling. Saw young Foley play against us last year, a fine hurler
