Mickey must have been goalkeeper for HWH/Bunclody for guts of 20 years
He was there in the late 60’s (as per the interview) and goalkeeper in '82 and '85 when we won the county senior championship, around 20 years alright.
Looks like a cracking team.

Was talking to him in the horrors after Clare put us out in T Morris. Says “If you and Grace have a child, who is it gonna play with” he burst his hole laughing saying he never thought about that. Nice fella.

Good to see Egan persist with the much maligned Mark Fanning.
Had a poor year last year, but is a fine keeper in my opinion so long has he hasn’t lost his nerve.
He’s 32 this year but I suppose that’s not too old for a keeper.
If he plays Adam Howlin next week I wouldn’t be too downbeat. He started James Lawlor last week. Be the first Wexford manager I’ve seen try out 3 goalies.
