Ah ok, so we are in a quarter final at the very least. Poor Kerry, joining Leinster and getting some big beatings.
Bizarrely they decided to let Kerry in but not to put them into the round Robin of weaker sides this year. So they put them in at the highest level, knowing they’d be jockeyed, so they could grade them lower next year.

I think that’s very unfair. Are we promoting hurling or just playing politics. I suppose long term it will be good for Kerry being in Leinster.
They don’t give a flying fuck about the weaker counties. I’ll give Mick Reynolds a pass, he genuinely tries, but Munster and Croke Park are populated with utter mé féiners. @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy is partly right, the GAA can’t grow Hurling in Ireland because they really don’t want to.

When they let Galway into Leinster without trying to develop a Connacht SHC they threw in the towel.
Not defending the GAA, who are cunts to a man, but developing Connaught could take generations.

For a number of years, a disproportionate amount seemed to go to Dublin. Wherever it went, it didn’t go into development of the game in weaker counties.
