Wexford GAA 2023 🐐

First game was in Bellefield, something like 1:18 all. Can’t remember for the life of me who was on beforehand, but don’t think it was senior match. Second game was in Gorey, Monageer routed us.

Just got an email to say the Kildare match is moved to Paddy’s Park now

We must be nearly at the full quota of football posts in this thread for 2023 now are we?

One or two of us will go to it tonight I’m sure. Make observations then that’s it

Costs more to watch online than attend in person bizarrely enough😂

11.99 is very expensive for it

Its very expensive, there’s a €40 pass for every O’Byrne and Walsh cup game but realistically don’t know how many games someone would typically tune in for.

Hardly bizarre. It would cost you more to get to the game than simply the entrance fee. What I would hope is that a percentage is going to the injured players fund.

I’ve a feeling that’s gone.

I remember the glory years* of the Jason Ryan era when this thread was a football hotbed. You even had likes of @Mac heading off to far flung places like Hyde Park in hope of a football victory*

Oh dear

Are they trying to poach some of the Fethard flock for their academy?

yeah they tried change it online and still made a hames of it! sure what harm.

Hyde Park, Brewster Park, Clones. The wettest ever game I’ve been to beating Tyrone in a league semi final in either Newbridge or Portlaoise. I was on the bandwagon before and after Jason Ryan :astonished:

Portlaoise under Pat Roe. Pissing down rain, David Fogarty gets the winner in last min to win. Great day!

Great to be back!
