Wexford GAA 2023 🐐

Seen that on Hoganstand too, worst thing about social media is it gives stupid people a voice.

Antrim, Fermanagh and Leitrim in Tailteann. Chance to get on in it is real.

Tough draw tbh. Two Division 3 teams from the spring and a Leitrim game which will be 50/50.

That’s a real tough group, all hard games there

Should be beating Leitrim, they’re awful. Antrim won their 2x games in the league to keep up, be better. Fermanagh, wouldn’t get close to them. Maybe I’m optimistic.

Wouldn’t agree on Leitrim they were getting promoted about 5 mins left against Sligo in the final league game, think them and ourselves are on about the same level, overall I think its not a bad draw when we could have got Cavan instead of Fermanagh for seed 1 and Offaly or Down instead of Antrim for seed 2, Antrim had an odd league beat Cavan but lost to Westmeath by 25 or 30 points, think Leitrim was the toughest 4th seed we could have got, 1 group is Cavan, Offaly, Laois and London which is tougher looking that ours. Will be interesting to see how Meath get on in the competition.

Sounds hopeful injury wise for Saturday.

Into Leinster minor football semi final led by a Mary’s lad. Life. Is. Good.

Talk to me about the laois managers carry on tonight? I heard it was disgraceful and on a par with his hurling counterpart

I won’t lie, I didn’t even realise we were still in this, seems to be harder get out of the Leinster minor championship than Coppers after 3am. What did Mouth Gorman do to get sent off?

Great response to the defeat to Wicklow. In fairness to Wicklow they’ve produced some decent enough underage teams. First minor semi-final since 2017 by my reckoning.

Think its a quarter final? Heard it was Meath next week

Kept encroaching, linesman asked him get off the pitch, he refused, ref called over, mouthed off, sent to the stand

Not called Mouth for nothing.

Correct. It was a preliminary quarter-final for the teams who finished 2nd in the round robin groups I think.

Right, I get it now.

Great for our lads but a real eye opener how poor Laois were.

It appears poor Conor Mac has been dropped by Wellfest as well as by BDE. Good news for the Wexford squad at least. Here’s hoping he has the same impact as last week when he’s introduced in setting scores up
