Wexford GAA 2023 🐐

Must be Kevin’s first start all year.

Were at nothing without a foley starting

They have Billy Walsh as a selector on gaa go :face_with_raised_eyebrow:… Also don’t have the changes…

Sure Croke Park had Wexford and Limerick up on the scoreboard for the first 10 mins.

How the fuck did we manage to throw that away :man_facepalming:

Because ye are nearing being a lost cause at this stage, sad to see the state of Leinster hurling truth be told, GY and KK on the challenge match circuit fulfilling fixtures and being fresh for the AI series while it’s dog eat dog in Munster, the format has to change simple as that.

Ye are working off the wrong template.

Column 3 down where it says W19 would I’d say be a good starting point. Maybe I’m wrong but….

Listen to your new money betters lads

Agree rating.

But I’ll also add, and I’ve been saying this for a while, you can see the gulf between Munster and Leinster hurling for the past 13 years at u20/21.

Yep and the gaa have done nothing about it. Hurling is played by less and less as the years go by.

No promotion of the game at all by croke park.

You’d desperately hope Offaly can make some sort of revival.

Think we’re in a great position now to beat Kilkenny in a few weeks time and take down the Munster losers in a quarter final.

It’s all about peaking at the right time.

That team peaked a few years ago.

Multi peakers.

Peaky blinders.

Three Blind Mice.

Mouse Morris.

The competitiveness of this Munster Round Robin gets a bit overblown. Waterford are perennial whipping boys, 1 win from 14 so it’s essentially 3 out of 4 emerging. If you can’t make Top 3 in a 4 team competition after 4 games, well tough luck.

In 2019 Galway failed to emerge from Leinster despite going down and winning in Nowlan Park and only losing 1 game. Same year, Limerick lost 2 in Munster but were still able to qualify.

Depends on the year too, for example Tipp were a basketcase in 2022.

Leinster is far more competitive now than it was in the late 00’s when Kilkenny regularly hammered Wexford in the provincial final. You only have to go back to 2019 for the most Box Office climax of the Round Robin era.

It’s 2023 now pal, Leinster has got a lot worse and WD still capable of winning their last 2 matches, to compare them to Wexico and Dublin is laughable they’d bate both of them with their cap

Not a chance of that happening.
