Wexford GAA 2023 🐐

He’s an absolutely brilliant coach as well, players love him. He has that talent for finding what motivates individuals and encouraging them.

watching the football match on clubber, very poor stuff so far, being destroyed on our own kick outs and really laboured going forward

Fethard trailing Rathmore from Kerry by 2-12 to 1-7. Seems to be a decent effort from the Leinster champs against one of the top 10 club teams in the Kingdom.

Steep price for an O’ Byrne Cup game online.

Twas that or drive to The Downs.

Hate club twitter accounts who don’t show scores/times

Wexford definitely weren’t value for money anyway

We lost by 9 and there was no way we were 9 points worse off. We kicked 6 wides, and all handy ones, before our opening point. They got a scuttery goal too, point shot dropped short and Ryan was quickest to react to punch it in. Id say we kicked about 15 or 16 wides, reminiscent of our senior relegation final where every shot went wide. Its a real shame, I’d love to have seen what Rathmore would have had in them had the scores been closer. Mark Ryan in the middle was very good for them. They undoubtedly were deserving winners, but there was more in our lads and they played well, but shooting badly let them down.

I’m enjoying that one life one club podcast. The one with Skinner Walsh and Jippo was very good. Skinner calling Jippo one of “Davy’s babbies” because he tipped Waterford or Limerick was funny.

Who you getting at here?

It does what it says on the tin.

Doing well with frees judging by twitter.

It’s on South-East too if you have it handy. Laois still leading by 3. Banville has just scored one from play from a tight angle to bring it back to a 2 point game now. He’s scored 0-3 from play since half-time.

Conall Clancy nudges one just wide.

Ah working away here, keeping an eye on it on twitter.

Damien Reck and Ross Banville the standouts.

Point in it, last few mins left.

Big goal chance for Josh Shiel but well saved by Enda Rowland. Looks like a defeat is incoming. Peaked a bit early last year so no bad thing if they bide their way into the year this time.

Experimenting with new promising lads coming through.

Same again v Offaly now. Wasn’t at it but sounds like Ross Banville scored a few from play aswel as the frees. All about getting a few new players… was anyone at it, who stood out?

Ian Carty, David Clarke and Ross Banville out of the newcomers apparently. Damien Reck was supposed to have been very good too.
