Massive difference in how Wexford worked the ball through the lines constantly looking for the right pass especially in the second half against the wind,plenty of Wexford sides before them would just shoot on sight normally leading to a massive wides tally.Kilkenny in huge trouble think everyone was expecting a backlash after the league and everyone writing them off for the AI but they hardly raised a gallop at any stage tonight,if Mick Fennelly was out Wexford would have won by 10 plus and they were that much better.

The young fella wanted to head out onto the field. He had fuck all interest in the game, but loved the aul pitch invasion. A proper wexford bandwagoner.

Congrats to the wexicans on here. Felt the weather was a big factor and should the teams meet again later in summer the result will probably be reversed.
Its been a terrible few days for Kilkenny with the reversal tonight and the political upheavel in the UK.

Listened to this on the radio. John Mullane was broadcasting from Innovative Wexford Park. When Kilkenny started making substitutions after 30 minutes John reckoned that a number of the Kilkenny forwards werenāt cutting the cheese.

Carlow won the Christy Ring Cup today. Theyāll be celebrating as well tonight in Oliver Plunkett Park, Carrickduff and the rest of Co. Carlow, Bunclody.

Iām disappointed, but not surprised. We could have been on the end of a serious hiding from Galway if we managed to stumble over the line tonight.
They are literally half a year ahead of most teams in preparation. KK are average enough, hunger was lacking now a few times. Wexford will get crucified by refs after tonight.
Proof positive its mish mash coaching, absokutely no techniques in standing the player up or tackling. It was just rough house KK. An obvious penalty not given near the end and the worst KK performance since 05 semi final gets a draw at worst.
Thats not to take away from Davy or Wexford. Its a confidence building pricess, its obvious what he is at. But that only goes so far and we have seen it before. He does not have the hurlers at his disposal not the coaching staff with him he had at Clare.
