Great win for Wexford yesterday. Kilkenny were shocking. Chin was in top form in the stores last night. I even bought him a drink.

Hard to begrudge the Yellowbellies yesterday. Should have won by a lot more. KK were miles off the pace. WX strong and fitter in every position. I think Cody panicked taking off Alyward, apart from Fennelly he was the only forward winning ball. Never seen him make 2 subs before half time before and then didn’t make another change until a few minutes to go. Also thought it strange leaving Hogan so far back having limited impact for so long.

It would be awful for someone like Galway or Waterford to win the all Ireland thus year after long waits without having beaten Kilkenny or Tipp along the way. They would have to listen to sneery pricks from both counties bullshitting on about flukes and soft all Ireland’s ad nauseam

I don’t think either will make the semi barring a softish QF draw, but I think Wexford are far more likely than Clare to trouble anyone in August or September.
