I don’t agree. I’d say people will just change the way they live their lives as they adapt to the climate.
I’d imagine. For some people too, there’ll be the welcome re-introduction of a COVID Case numbers evening type panic with temperature figures in some of the traditionally hottest countries in the world with numbers being shown in redder and redder colours.

People were talking about climate change long before Covid.
You must be thick if you don’t see the trend ok maybe you can debate what’s causing it but that’s a different point.

Because there has to be rational chat before you make massive societal changes which are rarely reversed and usually go way too hard on the people who aren’t very wealthy. Case in point being that everything has got very quickly shitter for people of all ages since the shit show of 20-22. But funds are thriving.
Climate is the gold rush for many now. It’s probably got more longevity too as a business more than most other causes or fads. LOT of vested interests on both sides and the answer lies in the middle, but the middle isn’t allowed now and it’s all getting very predictable.

There should be 2 teams of 6 top international climate boffins picked. 6 with Impressionable Squad leanings, and 6 from the superior Awkward Squad squad. Put one crowd out on Skellig Michil and the other on Ireland’s Eye and then have results anonymised. Big Cup Final in Clonamcnoise then to see who’s right/wrong/telling fibs.
Some lads dont know the difference between the weather and climate. Or statistical significance in the sample size of a hundred plus years vs 10s of thousands. Death valley is alway hot, its not the first wet summer in ireland, Mediterranean is always roasting in july, its monsoon season in SE Asia and we should all know not to trust any statistics coming out of china.
This whole climate emergency is a cod, sure we were worried about global cooling in the 70s, lets not forget we are still technically in an ice age.
Peak oil and running out of finite resources like fossil fuels, thats an emergency to switch to renewable energy you can get behind.
Super volcanoes, solar flares and meteor impacts now thats scary
