The HTC Sensation (apart from battery life) is a smashing phone for what it’s worth.
A lad I rang earlier was trying to see me the HTC Wildfire, it looked basic enough so I passed. Meteor seem to be offering the best deals for price plans. Unlimited Call/Texts to any network and Unlimited Data for €60/month.
There’s all sorts of players available but I assume you mean what do you use to manage it on the PC.
Samsung Kies is the default option which is pretty shit. I use Mediamonkey as a free alternative which is much easier to use. And Kies Air for wifi transfers.
Ya thats what I meant. Is it handy enough then to transfer my iTunes music over to that player then or does the music need converting of anysort?

I feel Pikeman’s pain. I like my HTC Desire but it’s recently started to turn itself off regularly enough, especially whenever I’m browsing the net with it. Fairly annoying, I must say. I’ve had it 12 or 13 months and am due an upgrade after 18 months, I believe. I’ll ask Rocko to tell me what to get next closer to the 18-month mark.

You can use iTunes with the Samsung by using something like isyncr or a few alternatives if you want to stick with itunes.
Done a bit of a clean up recently have unearthed 5 old mobile phones and one iPod. Anyone ever try those cash for your old mobile things? Is there anything to be gotten out of them? Was thinking I should just do a good deed for the day and pass them onto someone like Jack n Jill.
Also, what odds on picking up something for the iPod which as keen readers of the forum will remember is utterly goosed after doing everything to resuscitate it.

Got a call from O2 on Friday offering me a better plan - more minutes etc for 20% lower costs. Is this normal? I’ve never had such a call in 8 years I’ve had a bill pay phone. Are they ringing me because there are way better offers out there? Question to no one in particular.
It’s happened to me before mate. One such phonecall lead to a dramatic reduction in my bill.

They rang me as well last week. They offered cheaper plan but the data download for Internet use was minimum. They also wanted me to sign up to a new contract.
I’ve changed to 3 mobile since. They offered a much better and cheaper plan and the coverage is far superior.

There isn’t a huge difference. More a size and weight thing with slightly better battery and storage. The Galaxy II or the newer HTC Sensation are better phones if they’re available to you.
