screen froze twice this week. It resolved itself after 10 secs or so but its the first time I had any such issues. A work colleague has had a similar experience.
Since the latest upgrade my battery is deteriorating slightly faster as well , have had no issues with gliches though.
Where is the best place to get a phone fixed in Limerick?
Had a 3.5 hour bus ride yesterday and a 4 hour flight. Downloaded the Amazon Video app and downloaded/watched close to 7 episodes of The Wire yesterday.
Still had around 15% battery when I returned to Fingal around 12:30am. Some phone
I bought a z5 copper Sony Xperia. Never used. An android before. Delighted with it, though it feels very fragile and thin. Battery seems to last ages also.
can bate samsung if you ask me
One plus one phone is it?
The microphone is gone in mine i think, anyone else have this issue with it? When making/receiving calls i’ve to put the person on loudspeaker.
Don.t have that issue with my OnePlus but The same thiung did happen to my Galaxy s4, an awful nuisance. I pretty much blamed my work environment.
Anyone checked out the oneplus X, looks to be a nice bit of kit for the money. Th 1+2 just looked to be a little too big. The X has 16gig but has an SD slot which is a big addition, or it can be used as a dual sim instead. It uses a snapdragon 801 chip which is a very good chip for a midrange phone. No NFC or USBc seem to be the downsides(neither of these would bother me too much).
What kind of notes are we talking?
No but ask me would I fork out €269 because my 4y/o daughter hopped my 1+1 offf the ground last week and made shit of the screen and you may get a different answer.
Ah yes… my own was immerced in milky weetabix some morning last week but the cover saved it.
Anyone have the S6?
Is it very good?
I had the fold over cover on it and that has saved it a few times, this time she seems to have been reading it like a book and dropped it open face down on the kitchen tiles. I actually replaced the screen on it last night but did a little bit of damage to the power button. It now needs a bit of work starting it but once I keep charging it before it dies i shouldn’t have too much of an issue.
Yeah I have an S6. I like it a lot.
Battery is shit but I assume that’s normal for every phone on the market.
Apart from that I’m happy with mine.
It has a super charger now though. Granted it’s not much good when you are out and about.
@KinvarasPassion and @Rintintin - Mrs. Moth needs a new phone (xmas present) - was thinking of Motorolla Moto G 3rd Gen or 1+1. As a BlackBerry man, no idea of what android phones are like but these two seem priced in the similar bracket. Moto is scratch and splash proof.
I cant really speak for the Moto but the 1+1 is a grand phone and ideal for women who generally carry it around in their handbags. Tough if she is light wristed and likes to talk a lot she could develop arthritis as its a big unit.
