Once a 30 day sim only contract cancellation notice is service and adhered to by yourself you can port the number to any other network.
I would not take notice of them lads in india I presume its eir your with.
The mobile number belongs to the customer so you can port out once 30 days are up.
Business sims do not differ to consumer.
These lads would be getting a retention bonus for filling you full of crap.
If it is eir mobile go to their webchat and screenshot the conversation and hold onto it.
If they are filling you with crap raise a complaint (ask them for the complaints case number of said complaint) .
Again if they dont comply within ten working days raise it with comreg communications ombudsman they will sort it.

I’m actually with three, I did screenshot the conversation with the call centre guy in India, he was deffo trying to stop my request. I’ve sorted it since, Cheers for the advice 
Well the muppets at three customer service cut off all my accounts SIM cards last Saturday, spent nearly 30 mins online to someone in India Trying to get the sims reconnected and was going around in circles until I finally gave Up, Got my missus to ring some operator in Ireland and in fairness she had it sorted in 10 mins. Three are wasting theirs and our time paying these lads in India

A little handy unexpected small nixer came up a few weeks ago and the payment landed quickly so I’m gonna finally get this sorted.
The Oneplus 6 you sent me link to is 266. presuming the smart move be to go for the version with double the storage and 2Gb extra RAM as it’s just €22 extra?

Thanks to you and @artfoley for the advice btw.
I went with that eGlobal crowd. After the fact I read a few dodgy things about them online. The tracking info they sent out was very generic and vague, and seemed to follow a similar pattern to others who had complaints with them, so I was pretty much all set for a PayPal dispute with them. Lo and behold, a DPD tracking link turns up this morning and the phone arrived this evening.

i’d rather something for around 100 -120 notes but if something decent was on the market for another score i’d prob take it… I can get a samsung A10 for around 100.
370 quid just to post on tfk and play NFLFF? no thanks… I dont take photos and i’m not on social media so it would be wasted on me.
