I think it’s only ok. A certain novelty to it much like when football/sports radio shows and then podcasts came out.

Are them loons still posting away on propertypin?
It was some cockfest around 2008 and they all collectively patting each other on the back saying ‘I told you so’. Some crack landing in around 2010 and posting about needing to hide assets from the banks… you’d drive them demented. They’d nearly take your IP and give it to the Troika at the time 
A few of the engineers in the construction forums take things wicked serious. A lad logging and telling how he skimped on insulation to save a few pound would drive a few of the mods over the edge. Or with new houses… “I threw in an ould oil boiler… Sure who the fuck will check it” they’d stab you in the heart for that.
