What will you be having for Christmas Dinner?

We should. For all we know they are at home beating their husbands.

Bread sauce

Definitely not- strictly mushy peas

Spiced beef

He did.

I’ll get the Gravy done today.

Good to know

When will you make the bread sauce

I was in Dunnes and Super Valu yesterday and naer a sign of Brussels sprouts. I am beginning to worry a bit at this stage.

What’s going into the gravy? How do you make the gravy today without the juices from the turkey and some bits of roast veg and all that other lovely stuff off the pan?

You make the base of the gravy, then add the juices etc to it Christmas day.

So you’re making half the gravy.

Start pulling at threads and the story unravels …

Somebody is trying to mislead the forum here. For shame.

@TreatyStones clarify please

I’ve had three different people say to me in the last week that they really, really look forward to the brussels sprouts in the Christmas dinner. Every so often you are reminded that the world is full of deviants.

A feast!

Looks great. My mate makes fuck loads of stock out chicken wings in advance for the gravy actually, gave us a litre of it last year to use and it was out of this world. Christmas gravy needs red wine in it for me.

The turkey arrived in today, a fucking monster of a yoke. Twont fit in the oven, I’m hungover. I’ll have to do a Linda Mulhall on the bastard on Xmas morning.

Sounds like he’s probably doing the above. It’s really really good. My in-laws rave about it.
