What will you be having for Christmas Dinner?

I think roast spuds in duck fat is my favourite food. Donā€™t forget the garlic, tonnes of it.

Weā€™re having Christmas dinner on Christmas eve, roast pork, roast shpuds (in duck fat) , various vegetables from the garden, lashings and lashings of decent Barossa shiraz.
Herself is working until 7 on the night and weā€™ll cook once Iā€™ve gotten her home, so itā€™ll be a late dinner and most civilised.
Christmas day will be a massive Ulster fry after present opening and then leftovers, naps and reading whatever books I get. And then Iā€™ll start drinking.
The last few years have been me setting out at 10am to collect the mother in law and bring her to ours for a traditional lunch.
Unfortunately Betty passed away this year aged 87, so weā€™ll remember her.
Byt as always, Iā€™ll be thinking about my own folks and the effort and brilliance they put into the perfect Christmas every year. My oul fella was a gifted cook and did the lunch perfectly every year without fail.

My wife is also a vegetarian but she has everything bar the meat on the day and maybe some kind of nut roast as well

Iā€™m not having turkey.

Itā€™s going to be off the chain.
