You wouldn’t get that many likes if Waterford won an All Ireland

Went off the finest in fairness. The in-laws pulled out this morning the father in law has a flu and he can’t shake it. Meant the numbers were handier but my best sous chef the mother in law was gone.

Had to do a lot more grunt work than usual.

The black pudding starter was a real success. It might make a reappearance next year

The MIL was disgusted with herself with the turkey she served up. We all thought it was the finest, small bit overdone. Ham, Spiced Beef, carrot pulp :person_shrugging:, peas, red cabbage, roast potatoes, bread sauce, gravy, stuffing - a proper Protestant styled Christmas dinner.

A bit behind schedule - just taking the turkey out now. I doubt the mash is salvageable but it will be a fine Christmas dinner/brunch

They’ve all married outside the county… 2 x Dubs, 1 x Tipp and 2 x Limerick… we all just shudder when the beans are produced

I don’t think it’s a cork thing is it?

No.

The father in law had his quirks and that was one… I never met him.

We go again. I’ve 2 days of serious dinners served up.
