The shock the first year was something else
So baked beans thrown in with turkey and ham and stuffing and a bit of cranberry sauce?
You’d have no problem getting an annulment with those revelations.
Pretty much.
Great feed had. Turkey, ham, stuffing, roast spuds, mashed spuds, crouqettes, stuffing, gratin, roast carrots and parsnips, boiled carrots, red cabbage, sprouts with Parmesan and pine nuts, and an almighty few pours of gravy.
Big desserts all out of the way now. I’ve only had one glass of red all day.
Fit. To. Calve.
Merry Christmas to ye all. Thinking of those with a tougher Christmas, including many here.
Not a drop touched here nor will there be.
It’s the one day i let loose but ate with it. Been sipping since about 9.30am… beer, wine and whiskey
Any Heineken or Coors on the go?
Not yet kid.
I’ve no interest in a sup today
A grand Christmas spread had. As good as I’ve done and me crippled after going over on me knee earlier in the week.
Chilling now before I tackle the desserts listening to Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood.
I played a blinder today. Made a grand cheescake and all
An oul potato gratin sandwich
That’s deviant behaviour.
I’d ate that
How did it finish up? Did you make a bolox of it ?
When I’ve cooked before i always thought the hardest part was serving up and ensuring everybodies food is nice and hot.
The in laws had a bain marie today for keeping food warm. Would be an essential for me anyway
Beyond expectations, the oul fella calls a spade a shovel cc @Fagan_ODowd halfway through he goes “that’s the nicest turkey I’ve had in a while”
A what? Explain there for roasters like myself
My two mile inn days served me well
A food warmer basically.
