I have RTE Radio 1 on most days in the kitchen while I’m working from home.
I catch bits and pieces of it during the day. One thing that is clear is that Tubridy and Duffy are two of the biggest patronising gobshites around.

I see Today FM have moved Eds songs of praise to the 10pm slot replacing Paul McLoone.
To make it worse Pamela Flood has the 7pm slot playing any auld or new dross
Why would you listen to Irish radio in this day and age with all the alternatives?
Lads, 95% of Irish radio is utter sceptic these days. Why bother when you’ve spotify and podcasts
Lyric at 7 and RnaG at 10 are decent listens. Otherwise BBC radio 6.
I’d be very sceptical of your figures there
I’ve been driving up and down the country a bit over the last month or so.
John Kelly on Lyric at 7 is a quality music show.
Get the bbc sounds app on your phone and then run radio 6 through the Bluetooth on your car stereo. It’ll drop occasionally depending on 3g/4g coverage but will always come back by after a little while.
BBC Radio 2 is excellent on a Saturday morning. Dermot and Claudia are top notch
Joe Duffy there with a preview of what’s coming up on Liveline.
‘Are kids getting addicted to online games with many teenagers now staying in their room playing Mein Kampf, I mean Minecraft’.
Really ???
Yes.
I think I have just heard the worst song I’ve ever heard on the radio. It’s the new single from Christy Dignam. It’s called High. I won’t post a link.
Christy is some chancer all the same.
It’s on the RTÉ recommends list.
I think Shay played that on the morning show yesterday. Meh.
Just listened to a bit of it there.
Shocking alright.
His voice is shot to pieces.
Is ‘The South Wind Blows’ the best show on RTE radio right now? I think yes is the answer.
