Had a little chortle to myself yesterday listening to Cuddihy on Newstalk hosting a discussion on gambling spinsorship in sport; the same station is coining it from bookmakers sponsoring segments on their flagship sports programme.
2 minutes later, he was pushing that daily money giveaway that costs €2.50 per text to enter.

Foley was decent when he was there years ago. Music radio must be dying though with podcasts and streaming. Unless you listen in work who listens to it
All the kids in Limerick listen to Spin South West. It’s huge.

Irish radio has been cat for 15 years now bar the odd show fighting the good fight.

A few hours 5 times a week…
The only thing I know about these lads was watching their TV show. They seem like good lads but the show was heavily edited and had a load of voiceover… that’s a tell tale sign of producers looking at it going this is shit… if they’re left to their own devices it could be carnage.
The whacky/ zany auld shite never gets old for rte… there’s been an endless amount of these on TV and radio over the last 10-15 years and they’re all shite. These two plums are useless.
