Anton Savage has replaced Ray Darcy.
To paraphrase a sporting phrase, that’s a cunt for cunt replacement.
Savage is terrible, can’t stand his little cameos on the Matt Cooper show.
Good to see they’ve learned from Liverpool and Tottenham’s mistakes and not gone for six co-presenters whose combined cuntishness adds up to less than D’Arcy’s.
Curtis was doing a fine job, she should have been left at it.
Tom Dunne interviewing Henry Rollins here on Newstalk. Outstanding.
Tom Dunne is very much an alright sort.
He certainly is. An alright sort with good taste in music. Unlike Darcy, a cunt with good taste in music.
4fm rocked the scene when they initially came out. Now the music they play is as bad as 2fm. Radio na gaeltachta or Lyric fm for me now. They’ll never disappoint you.
95 FM
I haven’t listened to Darcy in 6 or 7 years but he used to be a run of the mill whatever songs were popular that week play to death merchant. Has that changed?
I’ve been listening to East Coast FM a lot recently usually between 6-7pm. A cut above anything else available at that time.
Radio 4 is outstanding. Today, World At One, World Tonight, Westminster Hour, Any Questions, Outlook. All unparalleled quality wise.
I am working from home today and RTE Radio 1 is on here in the kitchen. I have only been listening to Darcy for 5 minutes but he is really making me angry. An UUCOAM.
Fuck this, changing to BBC6
the breakfast show with rob and laura is bearable enough in the car in the mornings. Cant’s stand PJ gallagher’s voice, so 4fm is off and t6une in and out of Nova
Morning commute - I switch between Newstalk and TXFM
Evening commute - Matt Cooper once I get sick of Hook’s nasal breathing
Late evening - usually BBC6 - gone totally off Off the Ball
Saturdays - Bobby Kerr business show, Racing FM
Sunday morning - Cerys Matthews BBC6 and RTE Sport
Is today funny Friday? If it is I will definitely listen to Joe Duffy.
Don’t think so pal. Think Brush Shiels only gets wheeled out of the nursing home on the first Friday of every month.
