Whats the best Irish radio station to listen to?

I’ve listened to a few of Newstalks Sunday History show podcasts of late and I found them good, though a mixed bag.

Thanks, listened to it on the podcast. He picked Gregory Isaacs as his one record to keep.

Maybe @Fagan_ODowd can confirm or deny this but I’m thinking there used to be a morning show on WLR FM called “milk the cows and ate your breakfast”??

I can neither confirm nor deny that story.

Great show on BBC Radio 4 about misogyny in the book of Genesis.

The newstalk radio app seems to no longer work since the latest iPhone update. This has severely curtailed my radio listening as I usually listen to off the ball from my phone in the evenings on my commute home and while I subsequently prepare dinner (and while I eat dinner also if there is something good on).

TuneIn App gives you every station…

I thought it was just me. It works for me alright but it can take a minute or so to get going.

An outstanding app

Eh, have you tried using the actual radio on it, you know the kind with a dial which you tune in?

You can also use a traditional radio to listen to radio broadcasts while preparing and eating dinner, which I tend to do.

I don’t have a radio in mid a portable radio, smarty pants

Please edit this so it makes sense, or post again with something which clarifies your situation.

There’s some amount of stuff on tunein alright, best app out there, sound cloud is handy for OTB no adds or listening to the banter just the interviews ,I find it very handy

Seriously? They cut out the banter? That might get me listening again occasionally, although the drop in standard on that show has been marked of late.

Soundcloud is grand but they have a tendency to not post up everything. You’re really just as well podcast.
