I didn’t really listen tonight, it was Tony Connolly, I caught the end when he spoke movingly about the passing of his brother at 40 years of age and how he had passed on his taste in music, then they played who knows where the time goes by Fairport Convention

That being said “Callans Kicks” is guilty pleasure of mine.
I can’t claim it as an original. The Phoenix or one of this other satirical magazines in days of yore like Dublin Opinion used to call it that.
