My friends took their 3 boys out of Carrigaline comm school years back because they thought the school was embracing diversity with such gusto that their children’s education was being left behind,
Was a group of non national kids really misbehaving and causing real problems with teachers and pupils,
Two Nigerian teens were doing what they wanted or not during school and the teachers were afraid of the racist card being used when trying to make them behave,
It got really out of control
Physical assault on one teacher and a few kids,
F all done for months,
Anyways my mate took his kids out as their grades dropped dramatically in a few months,
Bate them up to Bruce college
And for 3 years worked his balls off in Pfizer’s to pay for it,

2 of the kids are flying in UCC now
He reckons that wouldn’t have happened if he kept them in their previous school

I know madra, don’t know what salach is
Or what kind of a dog you’re calling me😊

Sane sex schools produced our brightest n best though

Between her and the blonde bimbo McEntee and the new minister for justice
We’re fucked.
It’s a here no evil see no evil mantra

As discussed, these schools have historically had restrictive entry practices.

can you clarify what you mean by non nationals here

Traditionally a good at way get jobs for places like the west. Money for the Gaeltacht. Etc.

The best trick the lobby pull is the old “they don’t teach it right!”.

This is funny when the lobby have controlled access to the primary school teaching profession for 100 years. Still today we have language discrimination.

If they wanted to teach it right, they would be.

If you look at some recent chatter, it’s interesting to see. One was broadening the profession to reduce the language requirements. Another was getting primary school teachers to learn and teach other languages - straight away those entrenched in the lobby said there was a risk to Irish.

I am struggling to understand why in an environment where it is challenging to get teachers why we are looking to create more schools that will automatically pull the best Irish teaching resources into them. On the one hand we have demands for universality and regulations but into that effect, but on the other we operationally start schools that suck the system dry.

That’s some accent he’s picked up.

I’d say the cute kerry hores are pulling a fast one. That young lad was never further than Annascaul in his life.

Probably milking a heap of grants off the back of it.

A girl I know from my daughters basketball team is top of her class in Gaeilge, she’s one of the Ukrainians that isn’t living in my junk room,
In second year now, took it up in sixth class voluntarily, as she says herself ‘what else would I be doing while they were doing Irish’

I gave up on the voicenote after 30 seconds. “A gas cunt” I’d say.
