Your ISP still knows you are using tor mate.
You can bridge it temporarily but they still know it’s tor from the first connection from ISP to TOR entry.
They can have times of when you used Tor, which may or may not correlate with illegal activity, but is traceable.
You’d want to be going down the nearest cafe with free wifi.
You know fuck all about it. How would the ISP know about a tor tunnel if he has a commerical VPN active from his PC to the VPN hosting server anywhere in the world?

your ISP knows about all traffic originating from the ISP, the first route out is your ISP. They can’t see what you are sending or receiving, but they know about all traffic rates, download sizes.

And what can they deduce from encrypted traffic going to an anonymous IP address outside of their Network? Do you think they have a list of every VPN service IP or if they can tell that he’s watching Porn or buying weed?

course they can’t if the encryption is strong enough. they can’t tell what you are doing.
but if you are thick enough to only use vpn + tor for illegal activity they could have timings which could be used to map up to illegal activity.
Also, VPN ip’s can be tracked to a provider and the VPN entity can be forced to hand over logs.
It’s not as anonymous as you think.

He said use a VPN and Tor. Most commercial vpns don’t keep logs so they can never be accused of handing them over. Stop spoofing grandpa.
