When will you travel abroad again?

Draw a line from Biarritz to Strasbourg. Nowhere north of that line is guaranteed the weather in Summer.

Some of nicest beaches in Europe are about 15 mins outside the city.

Is the weather reliable in Feb/March?

Have been a few times Feb/March generally pleasant early to mid 20s

Very good. Have often been later in the year, considering March.

Definitely flying up. Too much hardship with junior in a car for 8 hours or whatever it is.

Kirra is the main beach in Coolangatta. Fairly tranquil alright. A complete opposite of the Goldie, 30 minutes up the road.

Barcelona in June. Any recommendations best area to stay

And resteraunts?

Los Angeles in June. Can’t come quick enough.

Me too. Primavera.

Last time I was in Barcelona the air BnB recommended a restaurant and it was absolutely unreal. La Pepita, carrer de corsega 343. Might be slightly out of the way unless you were staying slightly north of centre as we were.

Great festival. Went from 05-07. Every year it was getting bigger. Huge now. The Mrs was on about going this year but it wouldn’t work out for me work-wise

We liked La Gavina restaraunt when we were there. Down by the marina not far from Christopher Columbus monument but that was a few years ago now… The location, general atmosphere and watching cable cars go up to Montjuic are probably still the same even if food isn’t and there are a pick of other nice restaraunts down that area also.

Yeah a few nice places there along the curve of the Marina.

LA is fairly shit alright, can’t imagine spending time there with the options elsewhere.

We had a greatt beach/theme park holiday planned for last summer in Holland, gonna try to do it this year

Presume you’re going with the family? El Poblenou is a nice area and beside the beaches which are quite nice. Loads of places to eat and drink there too. You should be able to pick up a reasonably priced apartment particularly if you’re booking now.
