Probably not to TFKs taste, certainly not to mine, but Porters career was on a very quick upward trajectory when he was cut down
I remember him saying in an interview that he got over 500 points in the Leaving Cert and started a course in Trinity. Donât think he finished the course mind you but heâd surely go back and do some sort of degree after his comedic career was cancelled.
There was the hint of an Icarus about him alright.
Sure the way the points have gone now 500 points wouldnât get you Jam Making in Carlow now.
