The young one on the Kenneallys Bus I used to lust after when I was a teenager.
He did more than a good few years of that but a bucket of other stuff too. Did gigs all over the country for adults too. They could go a bit mental depending on his mood apparently. And the cantankerous thing is fair. But he was a true man of Dublin for a long time and is a genuinely warm and wonderful man. I have most of his books. Iāll throw up a few of his poems when I get a chance sometime.
Nowhere close. Billie Barry established a famed national institution. She worked it and taught the kids herself till she got too old. One of Mumbaās mates runs her school and uses the name.
