Where are they now?

Thatā€™s big numbers still, it must be nearly 20 years since she had her couple of hits?

Yeah sheā€™s not even 40 yet

Ya she made big enough money out there I remember reading before.

Yes Iā€™d say youā€™d have to be at least @backinatracksuit s age to remember him.

She didnā€™t though, sheā€™s a zero out there, never broke ice

Iā€™d say she invested wisely. The mother worked in Arthur Cox at the time so Iā€™d say she got good advice.

Those numbers would only yield her ā‚¬20,000 gross with Spotify

Her big hit (in Ireland/UK)was a huge hit in the states as well, Iā€™d imagine 95% of her streams are of that song.

Omero Mumba, where is he now

Has dance schools in her name in Dublin anyway.

I looked her up there. She carries a gun with her nowadays.

Billie Barry levels of success so

Late 50s early 60s

The young one on the Kenneallys Bus I used to lust after when I was a teenager.

He did more than a good few years of that but a bucket of other stuff too. Did gigs all over the country for adults too. They could go a bit mental depending on his mood apparently. And the cantankerous thing is fair. But he was a true man of Dublin for a long time and is a genuinely warm and wonderful man. I have most of his books. Iā€™ll throw up a few of his poems when I get a chance sometime.

Nowhere close. Billie Barry established a famed national institution. She worked it and taught the kids herself till she got too old. One of Mumbaā€™s mates runs her school and uses the name.

Big Billie Barry circling the wagons now.

Youā€™ve lads in here cursing the Billie Barrys for years every December. Same lads didnā€™t know Mumba even had a school. Itā€™s like comparing Arsenal to Accrington Stanley.
