Where will you be spending Christmas Day?

I can’t accept that. The answer is Drey.

Might be a bottle of “champagne” cracked if we have any in the house. Then I’ll be working away through the wine all through dinner and afterwards. Might switch to the gay beers then later on. I’ll be back home with the family, 5 adults.

I’ll be spending Christmas Day in Wexford town. My sister is hosting this year and 7 adults and 2 children will be present. I’ll have some bottles of Heineken and a few glasses of wine throughout the day before returning to my folks’ house around 10.30pm for turkey sandwiches and a cup of tea. I’ll watch the early overs in the Boxing Day test match down under and then retire to bed.

What date was the fair in Spancil Hill

The 24th of June

I have a good one.

Only one Church in Ireland (Catholic Church I assume) is named after a layperson i.e. not a priest, bishop, etc or saint. Name the place and the person

Daniel o’connell in cahirsleveen. Just up the road from our HQ

Not even a Catholic sure.

The greatest soup taker we ever produced.

Caherciveen also held a World record early in the century for most pubs to head of population. Something mad like 100 pubs to 2,000 people.

This century or last?

1920ish from recollection

Usually go to the in laws starting with champagne breakfast, which is always too filling so dinner is usually late. Drink away all day without getting drunk.

Bit different this year as the in laws have all decided to go out to a small hotel in the Royal County for dinner. Mulled wine and drinks at 2 followed by four course dinner at 3pm.

Im not mad keen to go out for Christmas dinner but Ill go with the flow. Will be less stress than me trying to cook for everyone which would have been the alternative (and would never have happened) and with the new baby it will make it easy on Mrs Goode which is more important.

I’ve decided to cook a small ham and turkey to have for a few sandwiches. Christmas wouldn’t be the same without them.

:clap:Good thinking.

Unless you are allowed go into the hotel on Christmas Eve, half cut, and hack the ham to bits while the mother roars at you saying there’ll be nothing left for the dinner tomorrow, then I couldn’t see the hotel as a viable option.

Post reported. Completely eoin colfer in the season that’s in it.
