Who wasn't bugging GSOC

It’s typical Labour. Anytime they’re in Government and the writing is on the wall they’ll stand on a football to give themselves an excuse to bail.

Clondalkin Paper Mills, Harry Whelehan etc in the past.

All the posturing (not of all of it wrong, in fairness) has come from Burton followed by Gilmore followed by Rabbitte and now Quinn.

Classic Labour “give us a head or we’re off” bullshit.

The biggest loser in all this is Eunuch kenny, hes badly damaged now. Shown to not have the testicular fortitude to fire shatter and callinan nor to apologise and thank the whistleblowers. Then again a choking mayo cunt is hardly news

One of Callinan, Shatter or Kenny will be gone by the end of next week. Callinan will be the easiest target of that lot.

Hopefully all 3. If callinan goes expect the notebook of shatters drink drive checkpoint to surface

Heard that theory alright as to why Shatter is tying himself so closely to Callinan.

If the top guard in the country doesn’t have dirt on these politicians then nobody does, shatter knows hes fucked if he fires callinan

I think it’s disgusting that ye want someone fired from their job

I’d be happier if he did his job or at least showed a commitment to doing so.

Callinan has resigned

Shatter has to go now too.

No I reckon Shatter will be spared. Labour have their pound of flesh and look like the good guys, so they’ll be happy with that. Leo has made his power play and will be happy with that as well. Enda will just want the whole thing to go away and move on. Fianna Fail and Sinn Fein will call for his resignation but the clamour will all die down in a couple of dies.

Incredible scenes…!

Although I see now a timely story has been leaked to the Indo about Shatter’s unauthorised use of a private jet to bring him home from Brussels.
Perhaps it was just issued to put pressure on him to force Callinan to step down this morning.

Wonder what sort of package Callinan has been given? A disgruntled ex-garda commissioner could spill a hell a lot beans…

Isn’t the phrase “disgruntled ex-garda” a wonderful invitation to develop metaphors?

A resignation at last.

Well done to the likes of Paul Williams whose investigative reporting meant Callinan was under constant scrutiny.

Callinan has resigned[/QUOTE]
Retired not resigned.

Congratulations to Mick Wallace and Clare Daly for their perseverance and steadfastness on this matter.
