Yeah. I heard Silver was a biker who used to drive up and down the Main Street on a souped up bike at all hours. He was born in England but lived here now. It seems he suffered with mental illness. I know a few Mayo lads who were friends of Colm Horkan. A very good footballer in his day who played a lot of underage with Mayo. A really decent and gregarious fella from all accounts.
Terrible sad story all round. If Ireland loses the ability to be shocked and saddened by an incident like this we may forget about it.
