I’d zero time for that guy, but I feel the outcomes of investigation have been disproportionate. They brought some sergeant to court on two counts of quashing traffic tickets. Its seems like these lads are scrambling for convictions after there massive, high profile corruption investigation has only yielded a few lads quashing speeding tickets.

I’d say they’re looking to put down a marker and drive a much needed culture change in the face of massive internal resistance.

Look the Guards are rotten to the core, as I said I don’t know the man at all, I wouldn’t defend someone just because of their involvement with Limerick GAA, couldn’t give a fuck about that.

But I’ve heard from people well placed, that the man was singled out for reasons nothing to do with corruption and then a stick was found to beat him with after. I’ll leave it there, because I’ve only half a story.

You would tbf. The boys there do one of two things on their lunch breaks - run or drink pints. During lockdown, that was cans in the carpark. Hard to fathom, but I wouldnt work there for love nor money. They’d tell you it wasn’t too bad with the RA lads, they minded themselves. But the cunts in there now, they’re another bag of monkeys entirely.
